- The product-standards, mentioned in the OJ (Official Journal of the EU) gives the presumption of conformity with the Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX 95).
- The implementation date is the date on which the standard must be implemented in the EU member states.
- "previous" (old) standards does not mean completely withdrawn, they can still be used for certification of products, this is dependant on the level of changes of the new standards as shown in the Annex ZY.
